For one of my Christmas presents, Andrew got permission from the neighbors to trim the huge hedge wall next to our driveway (it is not on our property). It was so ugly and made it challenging to see when coming out of our driveway.

Gingerbread Houses

Kari invited us to come over after preschool today to make gingerbread houses. So fun!  I think this will have to be a new tradition!!

Micah tries out preschool

The preschool director, Ms. Nancy, let Micah and I try out a session of the parent participation preschool class this morning. Micah had fun playing, painting and doing the craft. He didn't love the singing and circle time. Maybe we will try again in the spring!

No more crib!

Micah decided that he is a big boy and no longer wanted to sleep in his crib. He wanted to sleep either in our bed or on the couch!  So, we decided that this would be a good time to convert his crib to a toddler bed!

As excited as Micah was to take the front of his crib off, once it was gone, he started freaking out a bit and was scared to climb in. So thankful for Chloe who climbed right in to show Micah how fun his new bed was!

Sick kids

Micah and Chloe have both been sick on and off for the last 2 weeks. We have been spending lots of time at home, watching cartoons, reading books, and building with legos with daddy. I thought they looked cute this morning sharing the couch and blanket.

Micah goes to the dentist

Micah had some dark staining on his teeth that I was nervous about, so I took him to the dentist. Turns out it was some plaque, and Micah was so brave and let Dr. Candy scrape it off. I was so proud of him!!

Women's Retreat

Our church's women's retreat was this weekend at Zephyr Point. This was my 3rd year going. I love the retreat! The theme this year was that we are all God's Masterpiece.

Our new neighbor!

Justin got a new pet bunny, and my kids were so excited to meet him! Chloe ran home to get some carrots to feed him. So cute! Micah kept calling him a kitty cat. Will need to work on that...

Goal!

I hit my goal weight at weight watchers and came home to a cheering family and this "hooray" sign Chloe made. I love my supportive hubby and kids. Now whenever I leave the house, Micah asks me if I am going to my healthy meeting!

50th celebration

Today our church celebrated it's 50th anniversary and they had an area with fun activities for the kids. The bounce house, balloon animals, and face painting were the favorites! We love our church!

Snuggle time

Micah and Chloe were being cute and cuddling in Chloe's bed tonight, so of course I had to snap a picture!  And, of course, they got goofy as soon as I tried to take a picture! Love those two!!

Harvest Carnival

Chloe and I met up with her cousins at Deterding Elementary this afternoon for their Harvest Carnival fundraiser. She had so much fun playing all the carnival games!

Micah loves going to Grandma's house, and today was no exception. He loved playing fireman with his cousins, and digging in the dirt at the neighbor's house (with their permission!)
