Visit with Gree and Gramps

Andrew, Chloe, Micah, and I spent the weekend in San Rafael with my parents. My dad was recently diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer and is going to start chemo on Monday, so we decided to spend the weekend together. Dad is optimistic that the chemo is not going to make him sick and that he is going to beat this cancer. You can do it, Dad!! We love you!!!

Pony ride

Hair air!

Tonight after her bath, Chloe was complaining that her hair was wet and cold, and that she wanted to use the "hair air." After more questioning, I realized that she wanted to use the hair dryer!! She looked so grown up blowdrying her hair!!

Cousin time!

Chris and Andy flew in today for their dad's funeral. Their dad, Jim, had been sick for a while--sorry for your loss, guys. I picked Chris and Andy up from the airport, and then drove out to the Denny's in Woodland to eat lunch and wait for Karen and Rori to get there and take the boys up to Redding. We had lots of laughs and ate way too much junk food!

Yes, Micah is blurry in these pictures, because he was jumping on Chris' lap!

For the Love of Gymnastics!

Chloe had a showcase during her gymnastics class today. The kids all practiced together, and then each little gymnast went through the course by herself. It was so cute to watch her show off her skills!! Grandma, Aunt Kristen, and Devin watched her too, and then we watched Devin in his class. So fun!!!

Wizard of Oz

Chloe and I (and Ade) saw the Wizard of Oz at the Woodland Opera House today. Chloe liked most of the play, and only got scared a few times. When the stage would get really dark, she said, "I don't like this movie. I want to go home!" With bribes of fruit snacks, she got through it! She was a bit confused though how the wicked witch came out for the curtain call, because she had melted! My friend Emily was in the play, but Chloe was too cranky to hang around after the show to see her. It was past naptime, and thankfully, Chloe took a nice nap in the car on the way home!

It's a tent!

Micah was playing happily in his exersaucer, when Chloe decided that they should be in a "tent" together and covered Micah with her blankie. He was not so sure about it, and ended up with some crazy hair!

Chloe had fun playing with Augibi today! They had some nice snuggles in the Dora bed together!
