Sitting up!

Micah is getting SO big and strong! He is able to sit in the Bumbo for longer stretches of time, and he seems to enjoy being able to sit up. It must get boring having to lie down all the time. No wonder he always wants us to hold him!

Another way to be able to sit up--have big sister help you!!

Potty Training

Chloe decided that she wanted to stop wearing diapers, so I asked around for potty training advice. We decided to do a 3 day "boot camp." We basically stayed home for 3 days and put Chloe in underwear all the time. Friday was a bit tough--she was about even for the number of accidents and successful trips to the potty. She wet the bed that night around 2 am. By late morning on Saturday, I was ready to give up, after 4 in a row accidents and no trips to the potty. It was then like something clicked, and Chloe stopped having pee accidents. She is still refusing to poop in the potty, but that will come with time. I was very thankful during this time to have hardwood floors that are easy to mop up! I don't know how people potty train with carpet. I guess a lot of carpet cleaner!!

Nap time!

Chloe slept this way for her 2 hour nap today. I thought it was adorable!! I was also very excited that she was napping, because this was the first nap she had taken in over a week!!

2 months old!

Here is Micah on the scale for his 2 month check up. His stats:
weight: 14 lbs, 4.8 oz. (94th percentile)
height: 2' 1" (97th percentile)
head: 15.75" (49th percentile)
He got his first shots and did so great. He screamed for about 5 seconds, stopped after I picked him up and fell asleep in my arms. Such a sweet boy!!

Shoes!

I think this picture is precious, because I love sleeping babies! But the reason I took it was because when I was getting Micah dressed this morning, Chloe said, "he needs his shoes." I tried explaining that he does not walk yet, so doesn't need shoes, but she insisted. The only shoes we have that fit right now are these blue ones (thanks to Jen H. for the shoes!), and they matched his outfit perfectly!! He looks like such a little man wearing shoes!

Tummy time!!!

Micah is really strong and is able to hold his head up for a good chunk of time. He loves tummy time. Chloe hated it. The differences between the two are starting to show!
