FTT

Rebecca, Vasilisa, Bekah, and I took the kids to Fairytale Town today. It was an impromptu trip, and I am so glad we went! It was my first time taking the kids there this summer, and while my ankle was a bit achy with all that walking, I survived!  I forgot to get out my camera, so only have pictures on the horse and carriage. Oh well, at least I got some cute pics!
Micah loved the horsey ride!
Annie is so cute!
Roshni and Chloe have so much fun together!
Gilbert and Ronin saying cheese!!
This one makes me laugh!  Micah and Annie were staring at Roshni and Chloe, like "what are you doing down there?"

Dentist

Chloe had a check up today with Dr. Justin and everything looks good! Woo hoo!!  Throughout Chloe's exam, Micah kept saying he wanted to sit in the chair, so when Chloe was finished, I tried to put him in her chair. Of course, he immediately started crying and wanted up.  The dentist said they have a quiet room where they can do Micah's first exam if he is going to freak out. I think we should plan for that, just in case!  Then the kids had fun on the merry go round outside. Definitely a favorite activity at the dentist. Although, Chloe took it up a notch by riding backwards!

Rivercats!!

Andrew won us four free tickets to a Rivercats game by donating blood at church last month. Woo hoo for a free game! And the game we went to had dollar hot dogs and ice cream. Even better!!  This was Micah's first baseball game!
Cute kids waiting for the game to start
Attempts at a family photo....not too great!

Love this girl!
ready to catch a ball!

After the sun went down... We had a great view from our 3rd row seats!
The kids were having a hard time sitting still, so we took them to the kid play area. Chloe ran through the bouncy obstacle course numerous times. We kept trying to get Micah to play in the toddler area, but he was afraid.  After watching other kids jump for awhile, he said he wanted to jump on the doggy. Once a new batch of kids went in, Micah crawled in after them and went straight for the doggy.  I think this is the first bouncy house he has actually enjoyed and not cried the whole time!

Fun at Lowe's

We went to the Build and Grow program at Lowe's this morning with the Serranos. We were building a Shrek carriage, which was a bit more usable than the Kung Fu Panda Spinning Attack toy we made last time. Andrew was a trooper and build both of the carriages, while I chatted and took pictures!
my silly poser!

hammer!!

Playing with friends!  I loved that Em and D only wanted their Fiona dolls, so we ended up with multiple Shreks and Donkeys!  Such girly girls! And I also love that in the background, I am holding Micah, and Alannah is wanting up! Love that girl!!

Fun with Cousin Chris!!

Chris is in California for a few weeks, and spent the afternoon with us! It was so fun to see him, and Chloe had a blast!! Chris brought her candy, which is a quick way to her heart! They had fun spinning and dancing and being crazy!!
so silly!!

Time to mellow out and read some books!
Micah woke up from nap, but wasn't so sure about this new guy in our house. Sitting with Daddy was a safer option!

Go A's

Kari's Mom Bonnie won some tickets for the A's games this weekend. Kari and family didn't want to use them, so they passed them along to my A's loving husband! He went last night with a few friends, and we all went today, along with Dean, Emelyn, Delaney, and Bekah. It was Micah's first baseball game!!
Micah loves Bekah!!
Family picture. Chloe was pretending to sleep, Andrew was watching the game. Not sure what Micah was looking at!
Cool view of the field that Dean took
So silly!!!
Awww, love this boy!
Fun collage that Dean put together!

Wacky Tacky

Chloe was invited to Wacky Tacky today to celebrate Gavin and Garren's birthday, and Micah and I tagged along! Chloe loved it and played with her friends the whole time we were there. Micah was very hesitant, and cried numerous times and wanted me to hold him a lot. Poor guy gets so overwhelmed and nervous!
Chloe was very excited about the "face" painting!
Big boy sitting in the inflatable king chair!

Back at Gymnastics

Now that swim team has ended, Chloe started back at Fliptastic for gymnastics. She moved into a Level 4 class with Ms. Amanda, which is all on the big kid equipment. Chloe is thrilled!!

She doesn't look very happy here!

Seattle, Day 5

Today was our last day in Seattle, and we spent the morning at the Science Museum at the Seattle Center. There is a King Tut exhibit there, which travels around to different locations. It is advertised that this is the last time it will be in North America, so we had to go!!
Andrew couldn't resist riding this silly bike

We had to take some pictures in the dinosaur room for Micah!
Mickey and I posing like King Tut!
Andrew and Mickey shrank!

Seattle, Day 4

There is no day 3 post, because we didn't do anything exciting yesterday. Andrew was in class all day, and I was on my computer doing traffic school, and then reading and doing some Bible Study homework. After the seminar, Andrew got motion sickness from the packed elevator stopping too many times. Poor guy!!  Thankfully, we knew where Target was, so I walked there to get him some medicine. I had a quiet night doing some work and reading.
Day 4 finished out the seminar, and then we all loaded buses and went to The Museum of Flight for dinner. You can see in this picture the tables on the floor, and then all the airplanes hanging above where we ate. It was a yummy dinner and a fun experience! I am thankful that Andrew was feeling up to attending!

Seattle, Day 2

Today was a touristy day for us. Feeling pretty good after going to bed early and sleeping in!!  We started out at Pikes Place Market--it was crazy busy!!!

The highlight of my day--buying a drink at the original Starbucks!!!
Mickey was excited too!   :)
Thought the kids would like to see a picture of us with Mickey (and our yummy Frappuccino from the 1st Starbucks store)
Random sculpture at the Seattle Center

Space Needle and a really cool fountain
The gum wall. I thought it was disgusting. Andrew thought it was cool!  There is a similar, but smaller, one in Cal Poly.
Today we also took the Underground Tour, but didn't take any pictures. It was an entertaining and interesting tour!
