First nightgown!

Chloe loves being a big girl, and mentions many times throughout the day how big she is. She will even jump or stand on her tippy toes to get even bigger!! My mom asked me if I thought Chloe was ready for nightgowns, and I agreed that she was! So here she is, very proud and excited to be wearing a big girl nightgown!!! I could get her off the rocking horse for pictures, but you get the idea...

VBS performance

Chloe spent this week attending another week of Vacation Bible School at Fair Oaks Pres. She had so much fun!! Elementary age kids attended a music camp this week, and there was a performance on Friday night. The preschoolers learned a song to sing. Chloe practiced all week long and knew parts of the song and some of the movements, but when it came to show time, she just stood there! At least she didn't cry or run off stage like some other kids!!

Brother and sister!!

Chloe loves Micah so much! She always wants to hold him, kiss him, and cuddle up close to him. When he cries, she makes sure that we know he wants us. It is so precious to see how much she loves him!!

4 weeks old!

I can't believe that Micah is now 4 weeks old! To celebrate, we moved his bassinet to his own room. Now I sleep better because I am not hearing every little noise! Here are pictures of him all swaddled up and sleeping.

Free movies!

Regal movie theaters are showing free kid movies this summer, so we decided to take advantage of Andrew being on paternity leave this week and take the kids to the movies. Wallace and Gromit is showing this week--not our first choice for a movie for Chloe, but it's free!!

Mommy and Chloe date

After Micah was born, Andrew and I have made a point to try to spend special time just with Chloe. It has been easier for Andrew to do this, and he and Chloe have had fun at the park and swimming together. Chloe and I had our first outing without Micah tonight and got frozen yogurt together. She ended up trading yogurts with me and seemed to enjoy herself. I think she had more fun carrying some yogurt home for Andrew, though!!

4th of July

So, I can tell that I am suffering from a bit of sleep deprivation these days. We all dressed in red shirts to celebrate 4th of July, and I neglected to take any family pictures...oh well. We skipped church, as Chloe and Micah both have colds (Chloe has had a cough and runny nose for weeks, Micah woke up congested yesterday), and went to the Carmichael parade with the Quayles and Ewers. It was hot out, but thanks to Faye, we had some shade! Thanks also to Faye for taking the following pictures...

Chloe was not a fan of the loud sirens and cars honking in the parade. She spent most of the parade in the safety of daddy's lap

Hide and Seek

Chloe loves to play hide and seek, and usually hides in all the same places--behind the curtains and in the closet. The other day, though, she came up with a new spot! So cute!!
