Baby Shower

Thanks to Kristen and Jen for throwing me a baby shower and to Elaine for hosting! It was fun to see friends and family gather to celebrate this little baby boy!! In trying to decide the theme for the shower, Kristen suggested pandas. It makes sense for two reasons. First, I love pandas!! Second, Bill's nickname for this baby boy is "Panda Bear." Panda Bear is the first grandchild to be given a nickname before he was even conceived!! Before Andrew and I had kids, we went on vacation with Bill and Elaine to San Diego and went to the zoo. Bill was amazed that I wanted to spend the whole time watching the pandas, and declared then that our future son would be nicknamed Panda Bear. (All the boys in the family have bear nicknames from Bill) Well, now we are 1 1/2 months away from meeting him!!
cute little panda cupcakes that Jen made!

I am wearing Danielle's shirt, and she is wearing mine! hooray for friends who share clothes!!
our first playdates!!

yummy food. look at the fruit skewers Elaine made. beautiful!!
The A's vs. Giants rivalry starting at an early age!!
Chloe was excited to see the huge panda and balloons (and a strawberry) that we brought her from the shower.

Happy Easter!!!

When Chloe woke up this Easter morning, she followed a trail of jelly beans to her Easter basket. Because she had already received very generous and overflowing Easter baskets from the neighbors and my parents, we opted to only get her Otter Pops, which are one of her favorite treats...

The Mickey basket was a gift from Gree and Gramps.

After church, we headed over to Bill and Elaine's house for lunch and an Easter egg hunt. It was threatening rain, so we quickly took a photo of the kids in matching clothes and then got bundled up to head outside for the hunt before the storm arrived.

family of 3....soon to be 4!!
